Paradis, utopies et rêves de bonheur,
de Brueghel à Signac

Scénographie de l’exposition « L’Âge d’or. Paradis, utopies et rêves de bonheur, de Brueghel à Signac » présentée au musée Courbet à Ornans au cours de l’été 2023.
La scénographie propose une promenade sensible en quête du mythe de l’âge d’or et des rêves de bonheur associés.
La scénographie alterne des espaces immersif, expressif et sensoriel avec des espaces plus abstraits et propice à la réflexion. Dans les espaces sensoriels le visiteur est invité à prendre part au mythe en engageant son corps et ses sens, il est emporté dans une ronde dansante autour du vase de l’abondance, installé au cœur d’une clairière verdoyante, il peut aussi s’allonger dans un champ de blé sur des meules éparses. Dans les salles plus pédagogiques le visiteur appréhende le propos des comissaires de manière plus cérébral et comprend les données en jeu.

Set design for the exhibition 'The Golden Age: Paradise, Utopias, and Dreams of Happiness, from Brueghel to Signac' showcased at the Courbet Museum in Ornans during summer 2023.
The scenography offers a sensory journey in search of the myth of the golden age and associated dreams of happiness.
The scenography alternates immersive, expressive and sensory spaces with more abstract, thought-provoking ones. In the sensory spaces, visitors are invited to take part in the myth by engaging their bodies and senses, as they are swept along in a dancing circle around the vase of abundance, set in the heart of a green clearing, or lying down in a field of wheat on scattered millstones. In the more educational rooms, visitors are given a more cerebral understanding of what the commissioners had to say, and the data involved.

the entire scenography and its components have been designed to be reused for the following exhibition.
